Firstly, Thank you for taking the time to visit our website. We are a Home Care provider based in Ashington, Northumberland and we are very passionate about the service we provide to the people in our community. Our Service Users are always at the heart of our company.
We strive in delivering the very best person-centred care to each and every individual that we support.
We highly respect that every single person is different in their own way and that everyone has different needs and wishes and we proudly commit to supporting every individual in their preferred way, whilst promoting their dignity, respecting their wishes and encouraging the freedom of choice at all times.
A little bit about Myself, the Managing Director
I have worked in the care sector for many years now and have gained a substantial amount of experience and training to get me where I am today. Some of these qualifications include, Diplomas in Leadership and Management courses, NVQ’s in Health and social care and Higher Education in Access to Nursing completing Human Biology, English Language, Quantitative methods (which is just a fancy name for Maths) I am a City and Guilds Care Certificate Assessor and a Qualified Care Practitioner. I have training experience in teaching Fire safety, Moving and Handling, Infection Control and Defensible Documentation. I have various other qualifications, some of which include; End of life care, Nutrition and Hydration, People’s Champion, Dementia awareness, Medication administration and awareness, 15 standards of the Care Certificate, Pressure area/wound care, Tracheostomy care, PEG Feeding/medicating, Food Hygiene, Health and Safety, Monitoring blood pressure/SATS, Diabetic care, optical training and MCA/DOLS.
I have many goals and aspirations in life but the one I am most passionate about is ensuring that every single individual we support receives the very best, highest quality, person-centred care and support, whilst having the choice to remain in the security and comfort of their own home for as long as possible.
